UAE-made fruit juice makes come back in Kenyan market

A PREMIER JUICE THAT WAS ONCE READILY AVAILABLE LOCALLY IS SET TO GRACE SUPERMARKETS SHELVES IN KENYA FOLLOWING THE SIGNING OF AN AGREEMENT WITH A LOCAL FIRM.
The Masafi natural juice product portfolio will from this week be displayed due to fresh demand by local consumers.

This follows the signing of an agreement between Masafi East Africa and Masafi Co. LLC of the United Arab Emirates last week.

In the agreement, Masafi East Africa will solely distribute the product within the region for the next three years.

“We are happy to announce that this product is in our possession and will soon be available in all leading retail outlets”, Masafi East Africa Director Benedict Mutiso said during the product launch last week.

Mutiso said meetings have so far been held with Nakumatt, Tuskys , Uchumi and Naivas supermarkets to fast track placement of the product.

He said the dealership will offer more than 200 youth employment in as part of supplementing government efforts towards providing employment and empowering the youth.

“We have recruited several youth from either gender as part of our strategy going forward,” Mutiso said.

The Masafi product line boasts of more than six high end product flavours namely tropical, mango, citrus, Orange, Apple, Melon and Berry.
